Low Yuxuan, Chermain, Sally and I went for ACS I investiture today. In the morning, we were suppose to meet Chermain, who was in the cab, at 6.45 at the audi foyer. But there were some delays, so we had to meet her and her cab at the SIM sign board. As the taxi driver was quite annoyed (i think, after going round and round just to wait for us), we had to run, in our blazer across the bridge to the cab. Unglamness. But we had no other choice.

We alighted at the ACSI boarding school and didn't know where the auditorium 2 is. But we met the security guard( who also worked in nygh) there and asked him for directions. When we were ushered to the auditiorium, we realised our blazer was strikingly yellow compared to the other schools and it matches the colour of the wall -.- I met sara from khs there :) didn't expect to see her:D. Anyway, the investiture was very interesting as it was very different from nygh. They didn't have any passing on, just the reading of the pledge. Also the hymms were very nice(: And the montage was very amusing:D ACSI prefects can act(:. After the Investiture, we were ushered to the reception table and all the ACSI prefects (around 60 i think), formed two lines from the auditorium to reception table, really cool. Then we were stoning around after grabbing some food, before the school tour.

The school tour was very interesting and they have air-conditioning in almost every room! But it lasted for like 2 hours and our feet were aching after walking so long. Poor sally, she had walked alot yesterday( SLC progs) and her legs were hurting >< So we went to this pool side cafe to rest and grab some snacks. I think the school's SAC is awesome, its practically a food court! but the jelly hearts are ex :(

Then came back to school together with song sim and kane. Sadly, we were locked out of the school because the school side gate wasn't open. Its opening hours was suppose to be from 1.30 but we stayed till 1.40 and nobody came to unlock the gate. In the end, we decided to just walk to the main gate. Went back to class just in time for 20 min of class contact.

CCA was quite okay, but we really need to improve. JIA YOU NYMD!:D

Yup, I gotta go do my homework now, missed so many lessons ><

Dance today was tiring, and my neck hurts. Actually necks are not suppose to turn 360 degrees, its just for up down left right, not circles x) But I'm willing to sacrifice for art! as mdm low would put it. Still need to be more focus though. I should learn how to throw away all my worries about other stuff during dance. We're less than 8 weeks away from SYF. I know this is gonna be hard for all of us, but I'm sure NYMD will pull through this stressful time and BTFABTAO! Our practices might be tougher but I hope NYMD will put in their best. Our mission is to BTFABTAO as an NYMD and GwH is our goal!:D

Rachel was super nice today (well actually she's nice everyday:) She offered to help me do classroom duty today because I had to rush for CCA. But I'm gonna do her duty and my duty next week! I don't care rachel, I'm gonna do it :P Hahas, she's like the best partner anyone could ask for! And I want to see her jumping hysterically, I'm sure its gonna be adorable.(: Thank you Rachel for the cute little ballet shoe and the wonderful letter :D

After dance practice, I went to ACS barker to meet my cousins to collect a dance video. Qunjia said its the High Quality version of the one he emailed us, but I haven't seen it yet. Hope its nice(: And was very blurr today. I took 66 with Jody to ACS barker and I forgot where it was, hahas. I was quite worried that I missed the stop. So after SCGS, I went to ask the bus uncle if we've passed ACS and he just pointed front. He looked abit annoyed though. Then, I realised that we haven't missed it and it was just a few stop after SCGS x)

I only have myself to blame. I chose this route and knew that some sacrifices had to be made. I'm gonna be strong throughout this stressful 2009 year.

Sweet 16!(:

Yay, I"m 16!:D and I had an awesome sweet 16!

Celebrated it with my family and relatives on Sunday!(: My god sis and cousin made a cake specially for me, well, the cake was from bread talk but they designed it x) My godmum also gave me a wonderful gift(:

It was even better when my good friends celebrated it with me on wednesday!:D Firstly, in the morning, wennie passed me a cute little fox and letter. hahas that evil elf has grown so so tall xD. Then Genevieve, Jun Ying, Steffi Yingsiu gave me two really adorable shirts!:D and they wrapped it in layers and layers of newspaper(took me quite long to unwrap), and some are obituary o.o But i know it wasn't intentional(: And they tried to trick me with something...ah hem...But i didn't fall for that!:D But i did fall for the second part x) Gen also gave me something really nice and sweet, thanks gen!(:During recess, my wonderful nymd batchmates bought me a cake and celebrated with me in the canteen!:D COFFEE CAKE! hahas but made me eat lots and lots of the whip cream x) And said the name out loud in the canteen o.o OMG hahas, but anyways, LOVE THEM LOTS!x33 Oh and i received a lovely gift from Chermain, Ashley, Shi Yan and Shanping:D red rover was cute! hahas, chermaine also drew me a nice card (:

Then before SMP, Genevive, JunYing, Steffi and Yingsiu tried to trick me again hahas, but i went for SMP instead :P And nettie gave me a really nice letter(: Hahas, Nut also gave me a surprise x)

In conclusion, I HAD A WONDERFUL SWEET 16!:D THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SURPRISES, BIRTHDAY WISHES AND TRICKS x3

Today's investiture-kaleidosc09e!:D It was a success! Thanks to our fabulous investiture I/Cs!(: the NYSL item turned out Great! Indian dance was hilarious but hiphop and line dance were just as awesome!:D I owe the success of NYSL item to the Group leaders and Miss Sabrina, without them, it will definitely be not as good. Thank you all!:D

This year's investiture had a different tone from last year. I'm won't say whether its for the good or for the worse, but I enjoyed this year's investiture more than last year, probably because as a senior, I was more involved and that i was incharged of something i love, Dance. Furthermore, we had more NYSLs in the investiture, and interacting with them during dance practices especially was very fun! Now thinking of it, our last investiture is over(for batch 09), it was only last year that we had our first investiture. Time passes really fast. But we still have one more year of council and the juniors have just started their council term. But I'm sure that they'll do great. I can see alot of potential in them(: JIA YOU JUNIORS!

I'm feeling really screwed today...messed up loads of stuff...I don't know why I'm so unfocused today. Couldn't think straight in lessons, for example, I read out the answer from the wrong question after Rachel and Kim sabo-ed me...whole class ended up laughing...LOL. And I can't figure out why i can't get the walking back step right >< Its so irritating, when I thought I got it, i didn't :( And I cleverly left the roof top hall key in the dance studio, so i had to go all the way to the first floor before going back up to the 4th floor to lock the roof top hall...how smart -.-

Tomorrow there's Chemistry Quiz :( Somehow, the redox that Mr. Tan taught seem so much harder than that in the textbook...There's H+ popping out of nowhere and Beverly said it was hard. CME is due thurs, and we're not done! There's still CL and IH SIA. blah...

I'm not sure why I'm feeling so tired recently...must be the constant visiting to relatives house during CNY. Anyway, I should go back to doing work now.

Its 12.20 am on the second day of CNY. I'm still awake...waiting for a movie to load, Another Cinderella story!:D

Anyway, I finally found the time to post. School has been really hectic so far, worst then sec 3. NYSL Invest, NYMD performances, School work, project etc.

I'm really glad that for NYSL Invest our dance got approved!(: Just have to do some minor changes to the order of dances and transitions. Hahas, the Group leaders are really fun and creative!(: Oh and everyone enjoyed the mass dance(: "Bouncing all around" LOL, Dileen said the song was stuck in her head during SMP launch on fri x) The mass dance couldn't have been possible without Jennifer(of course) and my lovely juniors Chermain, Shiyan and Rosanne, who stayed back for fun to help brainstorm(: They're awesome juniors(:

So far, we had two performances, Sec 1 orientation and CNY. Sec 1 Orientation was a great success, the juniors did a really really great job and I'm so proud of them! CNY was great too and I had so much fun! Glad things went well. I was quite afraid that we would have to deal with these school performances on our own due to some changes...but none the less, it turned out great(: I think it was through the process the we grew as a batch as an NYMD.

Although school these 3 weeks have been more of a struggle then in sec 3 but I coped well thanks to some really wonderful friends! Rachel, for one, offered to help me buy food during recess when I had to go for meetings and stuff. She helped prevent me from starving and I really appreciate her help!:D Thank you Rachel:D Also, Genevieve has been a really great friend/classmate/dancemate!(: Although she, ying siu and steffi often bullies me xD hahas, but I'm really glad that they're my friends(: NYMD batch 09 has been really fun and cooperative!:D I Love all of them alot alot!:D

hahas, I realise I'm getting quite emotional. But it is through these struggles that you really realise who are those that have been there supporting you and helping you. I'm really grateful to all those who have helped me(:

This CNY started with a great note: FORGIVEN LOVE! it turned out great! and it was all thanks to our choreographers JODY and LI HONG and the Wonderful Sec 4s!:D Everyone pitched in to help!(:

We had some ups and downs due to time constraints but everyone stood positive none the less and we pulled it off!(:

I'd definitely miss this experience with my lovely batchmates(:
